I just wish I had discovered this series of outlines back in my first year. I started using Emanuel's at the beginning of my second year and the difference in my grades has been ridiculous. Except for one class, every A grade that I have received was a class in which I used an Emanuel outline. Administrative law was no exception. Administrative law is a dry subject and can be really difficult to absorb. It is nothing like Criminal Procedure or Evidence because the facts of the cases are usually confined to some type of procedural irregularity. Presidential appointments, removals, invalid rulemakings, premature challenges to rulemakings, failures to enforce, etc., are not the most exciting topics. However...this book covers all of them in a concise, easily-understood fashion. It's a short read too; only about 220 pages. I have to admit that the first time I read this book...I had trouble staying awake. But again, that's not the fault of this book; it is just because the subject is really dry. So dry that my textbook was simply the most unreadable thing I have ever seen! But, after I gave up reading the textbook and just read this supplement instead - cover to cover - I pulled an "A" on the exam so I have no complaints. Also, the flashcards are aligned with this supplement and they help too.

If you're looking at this Emanuel Outline, it's probably because you are taking Administrative Law. Even with a decent casebook (i.e. Associate Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer's) .... you are in for dry, soporific reading. This Emanuel THANKFULLY makes the subject a lot more palatable.....and understandable. I would recommend it highly for anyone taking Ad Law.

Bought this half way through the semester to help me figure out what the heck was going on in class. Got an A in the class, and I honestly believe I would not have done as well without the book to assist with my outline. Worth the purchase.

I purchased this supplement for use with the textbook Administrative Law: Cases and Materials, Sixth Edition (Aspen Casebook Series). Thus far, the casebook cases have been all covered in the supplement and are organized in a similar manner in the supplement. In my opinion, administrative law can be an extremely confusing class- it's easy to get bogged down in the details of the challenged statutes and to completely lose sight of the administrative law "rule" that is supposedly demonstrated in the case. Because of this, a supplement for this class is a must!! Additionally, this supplement isn't so bulky..like other Emmanuel supplements I've encountered... that it makes everyday use (carrying back & forth to school in a backpack) impossible.

Great Book! A must have

As usual an excellent study supplement from Emanuel. Everything is laid out and explained in a clear and coherent manner. I used it to study for my final and it was very helpful.

I purchased 14 of them. I was very inspired by the cover and the idea of the coloring book. I was very disappointed in the drawings, most photos do not look anything like Michelle. I also was very disappointed in the number of pages. The price went up for Christmas as well. I purchased to give as a gift to my female relatives as a souvenir.

I gave it four stars because I wish it was bigger. I bought two and I'm giving them to both of my nieces. I may just buy one for myself.

Pictures don’t look like Michelle. Book is not a good quality one. I returned it.

I bought 2 books for my grand girls. The words of inspiration are very encouraging, however the drawings of Mrs. Obama in no way are identifiable. This was disappointing .

I cannot express how much I love this book. Finished it, started it over kind of love. Hanif Abdurraqib has an unbelievable ability to connect what music means to our smallest selves and how it impacts to our largest issues. In a word: Brilliant.

My wife bought me this book because of my love of ATCQ. Within the first chapter I realized that I am also a fan of Hanif Abdurraqib! This "love letter" is a really powerful work about how our love of art impacts and shapes our lives. Much more than a simple bio of Tribe, this book is a reflection on growing up in the late 90's and entering adulthood after the turn of the century. While there is more than enough information contained within to please any fan of A Tribe Called Quest, Mr. Abdurraqib uses this as a jumping off point to look at how our admiration of artists whose works touch our lives and the "relationships" that we have with those artists can affect us on a far more personal level. Beautifully written from cover to cover and a joy to read. We all need more of this kind of writing in our lives. I will be checking out Hanif's other work!

What do I say? I read this book in one day, and I was drawn in and moved at nearly every page. I appreciate an author who can express deeply about a subject without the need to profess perfect understanding. Honestly I just finished it and am still working out the ways in which this book is fantastic.

"They Can't Kill Us Until They Kill Us" was a masterpiece, so I jumped into Hanif's next work without any real background or attachment to A Tribe Called Quest. And I still couldn't put it down. Powerful prose, emotional memories and stories, and the added bonus of getting me super into a hip-hop group.Two major takeaways: I'm a Day One purchase for Hanif's next, and I can't stop listening to Midnight Marauders.

Hanif,Thank you for your words, for your thoughts, and for your meditations. As you reflected on the impossibly great music that Tribe produced, you created the impossibly great book explaining, contextualizing, and honoring that music. This is the book that we all wish we could have written.

i love this book: a poetic, moving reflection on what it means to be a ‘fan.’ why do we love the music we love? why do we hold certain artists in reverence? what do we do when those artists fail us in some way, when we feel betrayed by them, by their art?i learned much reading “go ahead in the rain,” learned about the crash that killed otis redding; about the sad fate of child prodigy, rapper chi-ali; about what exactly went down, that one fateful night at the source awards.i gained an appreciation for q-tip’s true genius, his work ethic. i learned of jet magazine’s genesis story (“a small magazine started by one black man and some furniture as collateral started a movement once, they say”). i was reminded of what it was like, growing up in the 90s.remember mixtapes? “no skippable songs,” abdurraqib writes. “the trick was recording from cd to cassette. recording from cassette to cassette was an option but only for the desperate” because: sound quality.remember how insane/amazing those source magazine covers were? the one with missy and timbaland reenacting a scene from the matrix? the one where dre holds a gun to his head?start to end, this book is awesome (chapter 10, 'family business' destroyed me DESTROYED. 'common ground' took a knife to my heart) but i think what i'll remember most are the open letters abdurraqib writes, to q-tip,to phife. the letter about a tribe called quest’s second album, “the low end theory” was exceptional. they didn’t deserve the album, abdurraqib writes to tip, but you gave it to them anyway."there are cookouts and 'soul train' lines on this album. there are hot rooms and hot card games. i imagine the low end to be anything you could touch once but is now just a fading dream. i imagine the low end to be a bassline that rattles your teeth, too. but i also consider the low end to be the smell of someone you once loved coming back to you. someone who sang along to aretha, or minnie, or otis. someone who loved you once and then loved nothing.”okay? o-kaaay. five stars, obviously. thank you for your art, hanif abdurraqib.

Bought this book for my 12 year old grandson who lives and breathes football. He really enjoyed the first two books and finds he can relate to the main character even though he's older. He can't wait to read the next one in the series. Based on my grandson's glowing review, I highly recommend this series by Tim Green.

This series is really meaningful to an old coach. Really life-long. Tim experienced a lot! GOD BLESS him and his family.

4This was a great story for 10 year old boys who love to play football. It should have had more football action for the main character.

He doesn't like reading but was excited about this book

My son is not an avid reader! He love the diary of a wimpy kid series, and hasn't found much else that he likes sense that. One of his teachers introduced into the series, and he loves them!

Ready it with my 7 year old son and we loved it. Not too long chapters. Made a great bed time routine.

I bought this and another Tim Green book for my nephew for Christmas. As an English teacher, I always want to find new and exciting books that hold interest especially for younger kids. Since my nephew is a huge football fan, I thought that this book would be perfect.

I loved this book but could use more football action. Great book for any kid football lover. Ok storyline and had pretty gooddrama!! Four stars

Applying for physical therapy school has been a tough learning experience for me over the past few years. I wish I'd read this book as a freshman in college--it has great info and is a quick read. The author is extremely knowledgeable about the process and the field.I actually read this book on a plane on my way to an interview. It helped me solidify answers to interview questions and individualize what I wanted to communicate to my interviewers. I was offered acceptance to this school! Finally, after 3 years of applying.This book is a great resource--most everything there is to know about understanding the field and applying for school can be found in this book. Read this early and often!

This book was a quick read and incredibly informative. While much of the information can be found elsewhere, it is great to hear the perspective of someone who has interviewed PT school candidates. There was a lot in this book that I hadn't considered before, so I'm glad I read it.

This book is a quick and easy read, while also being extremely informative of each step in the journey to become a physical or occupational therapist. The tips on how to organize all your information for each school is great, as well as the information regarding recommendation letters and volunteer hours. Anyone interested in pursuing a career in therapy would greatly benefit from reading and studying each section covered in the chapters, especially those that cover behavior and personality. Overall, a very well written and concise book that will help prepare someone interested in therapy as a career.

I am getting ready to apply for a PTA program and the information in this book was very good. I can prepare and feel more confident in going forward through the process.

Before reading this book I believed myself to be informed enough to pursue a career in P.T. This book changed a lot of the beliefs and disbeliefs I carried. If you want to be on the right track to become a therapist you should read this book.
