Best reference book on Psychopharmacology which keeps getting better and better with each update. Incredibly well written, researched, organized and completely practical clinically. Is DEFINITELY the standard in the field and something that should be on your desk at your practice.
Dr. Stahl's book (Prescriber's Guide) is the one book that I absolutely cannot practice without. Just finishing my first full year as a PMHNP and I must say that I have relied on this book as my go-to reference whenever I have had a medication related question. In my opinion, this is hands-down, the best psychotropic med reference on the market today!!!!! Thank you Dr. Stahl!!!!
If you are in psych and are prescribing then you NEED this food. It has EVERYTHING in it from dosages to titrations to weaning and d/c'ing to adjunct care to WHATEVER ELSE YOU MAY NEED (or not even know you need).
A must have for any professional who prescribes psychiatric meds. Easy to use and clearly written. Each drug chapter comes with information on prescribing for pregnant and lactating women, side effects, dosing, how to titrate or taper, FDA and off label indications, weight and sedation effects, interactions and more.I imagine this book could be useful and interesting for the general public as well.

This book is great for anyone who does a significant amount of psychiatry and prescribing. Comprehensive. Good tips and insight on how to dose, good augmenting agents, side effects to watch out for and how to treat side effects, etc.
