This noncondescending volume represents a shot in the arm for a category of children's publishing too prone to blandness..."

This was a wonderful graphic novel with an educational base. It has a really interesting format to tell the story of Rosa Parks. Really enjoy the Graphic Library series of graphic novels. I find these ideal for children, especially boys, who are less interested in reading.
Gave as a requested gift. She loved it.
My son sailed through this. liked it.
What a fantastic comic book. The visuals are really dramatic and well drawn and the story is well written. My eight year old son and ten year old step son love it. They dont seem to notice that they are learning. Both seem more aware of race issues in day to day life. Get it!
Not ordered intentionally and I would not have ordered it
